Our goal at Roja Records is to create a solid label that can stand alongside greats in the industry like Toolroom, Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Sci+Tec, Yoshitoshi, etc, through maintaining a steady stream of quality releases which naturally increases in both strength and frequency over time. We are committed to utilizing the power of artist “cross-promotion” by securing remixes from prominent artists on more prominent labels. Ideally, label revenue will be re-invested in securing these remixes.
A thorough and adaptable business & marketing plan, combined with tour support and aggressive, consistent marketing, vividly separates us from other emerging labels. As a leading edge label, we embody the newest emerging sounds which evolve with house music genres, rather than reinventing with every genre shift in popularity.
Each artist releasing on the label is successful in their own right, bringing both prior success and a consistent demonstration of hard work promoting their live performances and prior releases. Label creator, dj Teresa, holds a bachelors degree in Marketing from one of the top Colleges of Business in the United States and has more than a decade of successful industry-relevant marketing experience.
We reach out to upcoming new artists who best represent the freshest and hottest new sounds through remix competitions and an aggressive A & R program. Any new artists selected for label releases must be able to demonstrate both a consistent production schedule of release-worthy tracks within the scope of the label range and a consistent tour schedule backed by solid promotion.
We hold a global vision of music which is demonstrated with multiple European collaborations and wish to continue reaching out for new global sounds. Our releases have received club support in Ibiza, terrestrial radio play on LocaFM in Spain and strong support from Europe.
